What Do We Do?
The planning process includes a detailed interview with the client to determine goals, objectives, and risk tolerance. We analyze every aspect of your fiscal position separately, then coordinate the pieces into an efficient, streamlined plan of action. A written plan will be provided to the client that advises appropriate investments, asset allocation, cash flow management and insurance needs.

Do You Need a Financial Planner?
If you answer yes to any of these questions, a financial planner may be just what you need:

  • Would you like a non-biased expert to review your total financial situation and current investment strategy?
  • Are you looking to minimize your tax burden?
  • Are you worried that your family may not be provided for if something should happen to you?
  • Does it cross you mind that your parents may not have enough to support themselves through their retirement?
  • Do you want to buy a new house? A new car? To travel?
  • Are you leaving your heirs with an inheritance or a headache?
  • Do you wish you knew the best way to donate to your favorite charity?
  • Are you sure that your insurance covers your needs?

Fee Structure
Financial plans embody the goals and priorities of the individuals who create them. Each plan is customized to meet the needs of each individual or family client. Depending on the complexity of a client’s financial situation, the plan may be very intricate or very simple.

FFA charges a flat fee for a written financial plan based on the level of service required for the client. The fee includes the initial interview, a written plan, a follow up interview to review the plan and answer questions, and two additional follow up reviews within a year of the initial engagement to monitor plan progress.

For clients with a specific planning need or for plan updates in years following the initial plan, FFA charges an hourly rate. Examples of services that might fall under this umbrella include consultations on single issues such as investment of a lump sum, analysis of investments not managed by FFA, and estate planning.
